Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of survey projects from kickoff through final delivery
- Preparing and reviewing survey documents, including boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, plats, legal descriptions, and related mapping products
- Collaborating with field crews, technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Performing survey calculations, research, and analysis to support project objectives
- Supporting client communication and helping maintain strong professional relationships
- Ensuring work meets regulatory requirements, professional standards, and internal quality expectations
- Participating in occasional field activities to stay connected to project operations and gain valuable hands-on experience
- Motivated to earn the trust of clients and teammates
Qualifications
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Recently licensed, or within the last several years and looking to continue growing professionally, are encouraged to apply!
- Understanding of boundary, topographic, and construction surveying principles
- Familiarity with survey software and industry technology (Trimble, Civil 3D, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to build a long-term career within a growing organization
